Spay and Neuter - "Pay What You Can"
We have received funds from the Texas Spay Neuter Program (TxSNP) that will cover about half of the costs of the surgeries we perform. We have decided to donate vaccines and microchips to all animals that need it. Therefore, we are asking that you "pay what you can" for services in order to help extend the funds so that we can fill our entire schedule at a minimum cost to owners. Any amount, as little (even nothing!) or as much, is absolutely fine!
Every Wednesday and Friday: Taylor Animal Shelter (limited spots for pets outside of Taylor)
First Thursday: Cameron Animal Shelter (typically no public surgeries)
Second Thursday: ...coming soon...
Third Thursday: Bartlett - behind City Hall (MUST have a Bartlett address)
Fourth Thursday: Thorndale - in City Park (MUST live within Thorndale city limits - CITY LIMITS!)
Drop off occurs between 8-8:30 am. We will contact you when your pet is ready to go home, which is typically between 2 pm and 4 pm. All pets must be picked up by 4 pm.
All surgeries include core vaccines, microchip, pain medication, and e-collar if needed (dogs only). We recommend purchasing a "surgical onesie" for female cats.
MICROCHIPS ARE FREE AND REQUIRED! These are important safety net to reunite you with your pet if they get lost. Let us know if you have any questions.

Regular price of surgery and vaccines for reference:
cat neuter: $125
cat spay: $150
dog spay/neuter: $175
